If it weren't for the selfless sacrifice of these brave, devoted and dedicated men and women of law enforcement; we would live in a world of chaos and anarchy...

C.M. Schmidt

We can either thank them today

while they are still among us, or

pay homage and tribute to them

posthumously tomorrow...

Thank a cop.

If your are involved in litigation with the State of Colorado, state officials may be sending a registered sex offender to your door.

The Colorado attorney general's office and the Division of Real Estate both have used Cory Morrison, an Aurora man who pleaded guilty in 2002 to molesting two boys, to serve subpoenas for various litigation.

There is no prohibition on a sex offender doing process service in Colorado, and there is no evidence that Morrison has done anything wrong since the sexual assaults in 1993.

Process servers deliver paperwork on behalf of participants in court cases. Many of them carry mail-order badges, which help them talk their way into homes or businesses where they can find their quarry before serving them with lawsuits, subpoenas or other documents.

At least eight other states have statewide licensing requirements and three other states have local licensing laws restricting who can deliver process, according to the National Association of Professional Process Servers. For entire article CLICK HERE.
